Memorial Hermann Hostpital
Misdiagnosis

I went into the ER with severe pain on the upper right side of my abdomen and after waiting 2hrs in the waiting room I was put "back to be seen" where I waited another hour for a resident to come and tell me something that made absolutely no sense (because I myself work in the medical field) so finally The MD came in where he examined me for 2min and decided to do an ultrasound so my diagnosis was gallstones at the end but told me, "It was so common and I shouldn't worry because I could live a normal life with them and there was no need for surgery, after all some people live there life without knowing they have gallstones" so after experiencing the same pain over and over throughout December I decided to see my doctor who ordered an ultrasound to see how severe this situation was which happen to be HIGHLY SERIOUS! I needed surgery ASAP before my gallbladder ruptured mind you this entire time I had no ins after receiving bill after bill I had to try to pay off the amount of $2500 and I still have to pay a $5000 debt for my surgery cost in full. Why should I have to pay the first $2500, if this dr told me the wrong information?
