Scott County Memorial Hospital
Mis-Diagnosed appendicitis

Scott County memorial hospital doctors arent worth the degree nor the license they carry. I went to Scott County Memorial Hospital and I had a busted appendix. Which they Mis diagnosed as a stomach flu. Im going to keep this short. I went in on a wed nite complaining of severe pains in my lower right part of my abdomen and after an X ray they sent me home with some pain medicine they perscribed Panlor. Its like percocet or lortab. Hydrocodone. The pains did not let up.

I went back Thursday evening this time I was in screaming pain. They did another X ray. And a rectal exam and said I had a prostate infection. Later I found out I didnt. So they said after a few hours and them injecting me with many ampuels of Morphine for the pain the doctor said " hmm because of your pain I think you might have a bowel emergency but im not sure what it could be..."

So they transfer me down to another hospital in Charlestown, IN. The doctors look at me and examine me for about a minute, and the doctor said it was my apendix and that it looks like from all the pain I was in it had been busted for about a day. HMM what a co incidence.

I later found out after surgery that they could not do a simple procedure but instead had to cut from my belly button on down to my pubic area because of the severity of the rupture of my apendix. Due to Gross Neglegence on the part of Scott County memorial Hospital in Scottsburg, IN.

I nearly lost my life due to their incompetent doctors
very incompetent doctors and rude medical staff
