Disheartening Customer Service - a disrepectful employee/manage

I was calling the Target store in Kalispell, MT inquiring about a product that was advertised and received what I can only think of as the worst customer experience I have ever had. The advertised product was Grand Theft Auto IV: The Complete Edition priced at $19.99. Now the advertisement was on the target.com website but it was an in store option only. So I clicked the find in store button and it directed me to the Kalispell, MT store. I called and asked them if it was in stock at their location and the sales associate had a hard time locating the item. She asked for the item number and I gave her that. She then told me that the item on sale was for another product and that the advertisement must be wrong. Now I can understand that except that both items were on target.com and the one I was looking at had the picture and description of the complete edition with the sale price of 19.99. I asked to speak to a manager to solve my problem and was told I would have to wait for them to come over to the department. After a short wait I was told by the manager that Target advertising wasn't always correct and that he couldn't do anything about it. I didn't think that was a very satisfying answer and asked him how I could trust future advertising. His response was that I was being "reactionary" and that I should have better luck trying to shop at another company. I then asked for his name or another identification and he hung up on me. Perplexed, and a little upset at this point, I called back and asked the Target operator in Kalispell who the manager of the electronics department was. She asked if I'd like to speak to him and I replied that I'd really just like to get his information for a complaint I would send to the customer service department. After spending some time on hold I was put back on the line with the manager who told me his name was "Jason" and that he wouldn't give me anymore information. I asked if Jason from the Kalispell store would be enough for customer service and he told me that was all the information he would give me and then proceeded to give me the customer service 1-800 number and said that I was being unreasonable with him. I informed him that I was more upset with the way he handled the situation and that I didn't think that hanging up on a customer was very good customer service to which he told me that he had the right to hang up on anyone because he lives in a free country. He then told me that he wouldn't argue with me anymore, explained that he didn't want me to shop at Target anymore, and proceeded to hang up on me for a second time. I'm really not all that upset that the product I was interested in purchasing was not what I was told it was in the advertising but I can't believe that someone who claims to be a manager, who should be a customer liaison for the company, told me in no uncertain terms that the company doesn't care about its own advertising, doesn't care if people spend money at its location and that blatantly hanging up is the proper end all solution to a situation that they don't think is fair to them. I am very saddened that this is acceptable actions from not only an employee of Target but a manager.
