I bought a LCD TV from my local Target store on May 18th. At the time of purchase I went to use my 10% off coupon I received with my Target Red card. I couldn't find it. So I asked the electronics employee if I could come back and get the adjustment. She spoke to someone called an LOD over the radio. They told her that would be OK. So I continued my purchase and was on my way.
Now today I went back and tried to get the adjustment. The customer service rep tried to adjust it and the system would not take it. So she asked someone else and they tried also. It wouldn't work so they called the manager. The manager came over and told me it won't work because I didn't pay the whole purchase on my target card.
It does not state anywhere on the discount card that the whole purchase must be placed on the target card. I told the manager this and she told me I can keep the TV or return it. But I can't get the discount that I was promised.
I would not have bought the TV at target if I knew this was going to happen. I really don't want to have to package up this TV and return it. I already sold my old TV. What a waste of my time!
