Take my advice!

I work at Ashley Furniture. I would absolutely ask as many questions as you possibly can about the warranty. The Montage warranty is an "Accidental coverage plan" that is not an extenuation of the maufacturer warranty! This covers rips, tears, burns, scratches, gouges ect that have been an incident or accident of your own. The maufacturer warranty is for one year and does not cover peeling of any sort or discolorations. The most complaints are on the "leather" furniture. People: you cannot buy an all leather sofa for the prices they offer. These are blended leathers that have vinyl/pleather. The managers should be more helpful when asking these questions as some salespeople are just there to make a paycheck. Let's be honest! The protection plan is great if you know how to use it. When calling Montage to make a claim - be SURE you use the correct verbage i. E: I ACCIDENTALLY ripped my sofa / scratched it. Remember the Montage plan does NOT cover animal BEAKS, TEETH, OR CLAWS!!! Common miscommunication! They do, however, cover pet stains. I hope this helped somebody. I have worked at the showrooms and customer service. Trust me. I know how you all feel with the complaints because I get them every day!:) Good luck!!!
