After researching diffent chains for a window a/c I selected Conns based on what they offered on their website. Decided to visit the local Edmond Oklahoma Store and pick out the a/c unit. I had never been in a Conn's store since they began doing business in Oklahoma. Upon entering the store and making my way to the a/c section, I was asked if I needed help, I said yes, needed to know what size room each a/c unit would cool. 1st saleman left to get an answer, 2nd saleman came, and began to figure what I needed. After showing me the a/c unit plugged up, I also looked at buying a 2nd unit, a floor model, it needed a knob that was missing, and I asked if he would take any off. No answer, the next 30 minutes were spent trying to find the knob for the 2nd a/c unit. What should have taken 15 minutes to purchase turned in to 45 minutes. I left the store with 1 unit, and the other $500.00 that I had planned on spending in the store. Needless to say, customer service is extremely lacking on their part. Since leaving the store, I have made it a point to let other people know to avoid the Edmond Conn's store due to their lack of service and knowledge. 1 Unhappy customer who will not ever shop at Conns again.
