I was recently swindled by a very suave Sears Home Improvement Salesman as well as the installation folks and the one at the office in Westwood, Ma
I was sold a Carrier HVAC System for $16,000 and have since found out from 2 other peole, I should have not spent more than $8,000. I was pressured by the salesman to sign when he was in my house.
OK, I was suckered to pay the inflated price but then they come in and install, if you call it that. They required additional items which I should have been informed about during the sale increasing the cost $2,500. After the installers left, my heating did not work because they put in a defective gas line and did not properly wire the AC
I have my attorney and the Mass Attorney Generals office now helping me out.
Do not use Sears... They are very expensive and their installers shoulod go back to school.
