Buyer beware!!! Living areas furniture store fine-print lets you know as you are able to will not take delivery of damaged furniture. Whenever occurs, you'll not be charged restocking fees.
What living areas does not let you know is that first, they'll get back the damaged furniture, after which they'll change and ask you for not just a $99.00 cost for delivery but one more $150.00 "restocking fee, " when they decide that their furniture wasn't broken enough to guarantee you declining to take shipping.
Lately, i purchased and attempted to take delivery of the leather couch collection ans a coffee-table, not once but 2 times. But both instances, i acquired damaged furniture — the legs of the couches had major blemishes, the leather sewing was frayed, and there is a tear underneath among the bits. The table had multiple scratches. The delivery people managed the furniture really approximately, nearly tossing items along on the highway without safety. After i reported for the customer service person while this happened, he just did not care. He actually established that i'd not be charged for that delivered furniture or for your restocking. However, per month later, the statement resembled the costs anyhow, when i called to clear it-up, these were rude declaring that "they" didn't see the harm i'd identified and thus, i'd to cover restocking.
