Bad rewards system, customer service stinks

We simply shifted to Littleton, DENVER, and also have both a Kroger along with a Safeway right nearby from us. Becoming a member of the Kroger benefits card required five minutes and we got two key chain cards for checking. Simple.

Today I visited the Safeway and requested to register. The worker passed ME-1 creditcard dimension Membership card. I expected to get a 2nd for my spouse. Listed here is where the disaster started:

I had been provided a second credit-measurement card for my spouse

Both cards have various bill figures, therefore we would wind up making benefits individually

After I questioned about that, the worker stated I'd two choices for mixing the balances:

1. Visit the Safeway site (I did this, and it did not identify either consideration number!)

2. Phone 877-SAFEWAY - I did that and, after obtain a repetition after over 35 units (I examined!), the decision was stop (atleast it saved me from hearing poor audio with terrible sound-quality)

This Can Be A laugh! It is no surprise that Kroger's market-cap is three times that of Safeway, as well as their inventory is certainly going up, not tanking existence Safewayis.
