Established in 1999 - haven't been around to long. Partnered with AT&T and affiliated with Freeze Wireless. This joint venture is a Scam! Beware!
Here's the story:
We purchased a cell phone from an online company - Freeze Wireless (try to get though to them with a problem... Lol) back in Aug. Had the phone for 5 days then tried to recharge it, never worked again. Called Freeze for a new phone - couldn't get though numerious times and for days. Then called AT&T, they told us to wait out the 30 day trial period and they would send us a "NEW" phone. Waited the 30, called them back to make arrangements for the return of the dead phone. They told us they'll send us a "USED" phone in replacement. This is not what we were told a month before. We were told we would get a new not a used. When finding this out, we cancelled Immediately. We sent the phone back to Freeze that same day with all it's original contents as they instructed us to do so.
We get an E-mail From InPhonic months later (4) and here is what they sent us:
Dear Ms XXXXXX:
The cellular phone you are returning to InPhonic, Inc. Has been received by our Returns Department.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to issue a credit for this unit for the following reason (s):
The inside container is missing and the charger is missing.
Your returned cellular phone will be held for a 30-day period prior to being disposed of by our Returns Department. We will be happy to return your unit to you via UPS at your expense. You may forward a money order in the amount of $10 to the following address:

OK, 4 months later we got this. Now if someone's phone was sitting around in your returns Dept. For 4 months, wouldn't you think this might get lost or even used (dicected) for an other order. We sertainly think so. Now they will not credit us and want another $10 to ship us back a dead phone with no charger? Heck of a deal don't you think? Have to stap me down to my chair so I can't get to my wallet for that offer. At 1st we thought someone was playing a joke on us, but this is for real... Lol. Now that's a company with poor business ethics. It's a total Rip Off!
Don't sign up! Your just looking for head aches and more! They are a Rip Off! We gave them a 24 hr notice to credit us for the dead phone. They did not reply nor are we credited as asked. It's been 6 months they've had our money.

Well it's the legal route from here, it's going to cost them more than what the phone is worth that's for sure. I'm guessing they don't realise that the word can get out fast on the internet.
