In October of I purchased a cellular phone from Inphonic/Wirefly with a 2 year agreement with Cingular. I was promised that after 6 months of continuous service with Cingular, I would receive a rebate for the amount of the phone ($150) from Inphonic.
After a complicated rebate process, which I completed, my rebate was denied because I did not include 6 months worth of bills and that a postcard would be sent me to telling me what to do next.
I did not receive a postcard from Inphonic/Wirefly. I had infact sent in 6 bills along with a host of other information. The catch is that the 6th month they were referring to was during the rebate period. I could not possibly send that bill in if I hadn't received it yet! For the record, I've been with Cingular for 10 consecutive months now.
Therefore, I fully support the Attorney General's lawsuit vs Inphonic/Wirefly and will do everything I can to assist in this effort.
