First Issue. I bought a Honda Generator in 1999. Customer service said they would contact me when the generator arrived in the store. I stopped at the store in early 2000 asking about the generator. They said there was no record of it, so I was out the money.

Second issue. I bought a patio set (table, chairs, umbrella). I had customer service assist in the sale hoping they would get it right. I stopped the following Saturday for pickup and they had no record of it. I had my receipt, but they had to compare the number of items in stock with the inventory counts. After a two hour wait and since the counts were accurate, I was able to pick up the set.

I Sent an email to Home Depot complaining of these two incidents. I received NO response from them for either of these issues. The first purchase was in Bloomington, MN, the second was in Eagan, MN. I have decide to never darken their doors again.
