I ordered some lumber from Home Depot for a building project. The lumber arrived inferior and infested with termites. Sadly, it took them four days to pick up the lumber. No apology, and they actually tried to talk me out of reordering the product.
Home Depot has refused any discount on new lumber and referred the termite claim to their insurance company. Their insurance company said they would not deal with it, and they said I would need to contact the Home Depot lumber supplier. Ironically, I got a call from corporate to see if I was satisfied with the result. I said no, and Michael said I would have to contact their insurance company, which has recused itself from the situation.
Home Depot, the only ones happy are the termites you sent to my home! I have a whole house to fix up, but I will never use them again!
