Viscom Technology I too have spent good money on a total piece of ripoff crap!

I have read quite a few of the complaints and comments on the website and everything is absolutely, positively TRUE! I am experiencing most of the same problems!

I too fell for the old sales pitch and was very excited when I bought my system in Mar'03' ($1999.00) Started having problems in January '04' (had to have the CD and DVD drives replaced)!!

In Feb '04 sound went out, couldn't play any music, was told I needed a new motherboard (How convenient since the original warranty was about to expire in a few days). Spent most of my b-day (2-27) on the phone with tech support (a joke, total waste of time) and most of the night before on (I call it drownline) trying to solve the problem.

They finally decided to send someone to replace motherboard. After it was installed, the system completely crashed while the tech was there! Again, on the phone with worthless Tech Support, and I ended up sending it in after trying to restore it (I had to pay UPS to pack and ship) for a new hard drive under the extended warranty. Thought the problem was solved. BOY WAS I WRONG!

To make a long story short, it is now August and I still don't have a working system. It has crashed over and over and just keeps rebooting when is's not crashing! I have spent countless frustrating hours of my valuable time on and off the phone trying to figure out what the heck is wrong!!! It's not like I was even using this computer everyday on a regular basis!

I can't get on the internet, it's full of viruses, just about every part has been replaced and I'm still now waiting for someone to contact me so that I can take it to a local repair center to be checked and fixed (YEA RIGHT)!!

The extended warranty isn't worth two dead flies, it really don't cover anything once the original warranty runs out. As for Tech Support, They take you through so many changes and you end up doing so many things to correct the problem that you don't even remember what the problem was, and they still haven't fixed JACK!

I'm really thinking about donating the entire worthless system to the Salvation Army (if they will accept it) and getting a Dell (If I don't drop it off the roof first) like my sister told me to do in the first place! I cut up my Shop NBC credit card a long time ago!

It just really makes my blood boil to think that I just wasted my money! Count me in for the C.A. Lawsuit! I'm down for WHATEVER! Hopefully, we can all hit this worthless company where it hurts-IN THIER POCKETS!!!
