Ripoff Extortion Misrepresentation Contractual obligation without notification F

First of all, I am a resident of Little Rock, AR. I listed this as the city, although I do not know where their customer service center is based. Therefore, it is not fair to single out the Little Rock location.

Now, I could write a book about the nightmares I have encountered with this criminal organization over the last 3 years. It was finally going to come to an end yesterday when I called to have the service terminated. I'm switching to a company cell phone with a different cellular provider. I was informed that I would have to pay a $150 disconnect fee b/c I was under contract. I knew my initial contract was finished long ago, so I asked how this was possible.

Apparently, when I contacted these pieces of sh*t in January about an incorrect bill, they changed my peak hours from 8 am - 8 pm to 7 am - 7 pm. Apparently, this then obligates me to a 2 year contract. I said, "I never signed a new contract or agreed to any of this." They explained that by paying my next bill in February, that I agreed to the new contract.interesting, huh? I told them to put a manager on the phone. They said it would be a 30 minute wait. I waited. When I got this obnoxiously rude b*tch on the phone, I asked that she remove the $150 fee. She said, "Nope." I told her that this was obviously a corporate scam, and that no one should feel required to pay it. She explained that she didn't care what it was, I was going to pay it. I told her that I would go to the local store on Monday and create quite a scene if she didn't take the charge off. She said that they would have me arrested. I told her to contact the police in advance and have them meet me there at 9:00 A.M. She hung up on me after she told me that she didn't care how mad I was, she wasn't going to help.

I contacted my attorney and asked what legal recourse I had with these sheisters. He asked that I deliver a letter and keep a copy for myself showing that I requested termination of service. The problem with this, is that I will spend countless man hours down the road trying to keep this charge off of my credit report. They continue to rip everyone off, and I lose income because I spend my time fighting them. That, my friends, simply will not do.

What this company will soon realize is that when you f*ck with somebody like me long enough, it's going to come back to hurt you. I contacted a friend of mine to obtain a list of info. Regarding my account with Sprint. I am putting a letter together and have made contact with the local paper. I'm trying to have an editorial printed. This will not be the only media outlet I do this with. This is only one of many scams I've fought with the wonderful people at Sprint. It would be of great benefit to me if others that have experienced problems with Sprint would contact me. I am putting a piece together now, and would appreciate all communication. I don't anticipate you'll see me on "Dateline" anytime soon. But, I assure you that I will waste at least as much of their time and money as they've stolen from me.
