At 6PM on the Dell Outlet website, I clicked on the CHAT button. After considerable time communicating, agent Marvin offered the M5030 at a good price. I called the next morning and was told it is not an internet model, it could only be purchased through stores and I was given the link to Best Buy.
I guess lesson learned is that the CHAT is apparently used to soften people up to send them to the stores. Second event: according to Amit, the chat on the outlet page is the parts department, and Amit, in reading the previous chat transcript, didn't realize the first salesperson was talking about whole computers. He did not know Model M5030 wasn't a computer. When queried, did admit they also sold computers.
Would the DELL right hand please talk to the left hand?
