I purchased a recharging phone case for my iPhone 4 from Focalprice. When the item arrived it was obviously a counterfeit, I didn't even have to open the packaging to see for myself. It was terribly discolored! For a product that I had to pay $80 for I was very disappointed. I contacted the company and sent a photo of what the product looked like. They agreed right away that it was not a quality iten and suggested that I return it at my own expense ($12) for a full refund. I returned the product and waited for two months. The company never contacted me to tell me they received the product so I contacted them. They admitted they had the product in their hands, then started offering me coupons for under half the amount that the product was worth! I refused, reminding them that they had already authorized the return upon the return of the product. The company then tried to offer me only half what I had paid in return! Mind you, they had the product in their hands and my money by this point, I had nothing. It took over a month of quarreling back and forth, reporting the scam to the forum on the site, then contacting PayPal and www.econsumer. Gov to file reports. PayPal could not guarantee my refund because the 45 days had passed since the purchase date. If Focalprice had contacted me when they received the product back in the mail I would have been able to file a report with PayPal sooner. From reading the forums on Focalprice.com I have seen hundreds of posts from other people who have been treated with delaying tactics just the same way I was just so they could be kept at bay long enough for the time limit to file a report with PayPal has passed. I did eventually receive my refund, but only after I raised hell. Many other people still have not received refund or products from this site and are being scammed, just not everyone knows that they can speak up about it, or how to do it. I just recently discovered this site to report them. I would have reported them sooner had I known! Hopefully this will prevent other people from falling victim to this scam of a site!
