Customer Service Is An Oxymoron

I attempted to cancel my cricket wireless service. I was instructed to call 1-800-CRICKET, which is not a big deal. Once I called, in order to speak to a representative, I needed an authorization ID. I did not know what this was, so the automated system told me to call *AID to retrieve that information. I attempted to call (*243) and it informed me that that service is not available. Therefore you simply cannot cancel your cricket service, without doing it in person.
