ACI Management continues their dysfunctional practices. Kal (New Manager) tells us that we (Techs) have to be at work by 7 AM. I have no problem with that its a reasonable request (the time before had fluctuated between 7AM & 7:30 AM), it depends on who is in charge. Monday morning at get to work and Van Damme says There is no route for you. I would not have a problem with this had someone called me at home and inform me (I live 20 miles away).
This is just one of many dysfunctional practices. We have been told that our hours will be cut to 40 hours per week. How is this possible? Mathematically its not. If Im required to be at work at 7AM and my last job on my route is one (4p-7p) and two (5p-7p) which means at that 7 PM point Ive been on the job 12 hours. This does not include drive time and being in rush hour traffic. So we are being force to lie on our time sheets.
Another dysfunctional practice:
They hire Kale as our manager. Kale came from a system that was shut down. What makes them think he can do the job? From the looks of it hes running down in the ground. Somebody better get out there (Madison Heights) and find out what is exactly going on and Van Damme is right up his a*.
