Poor slow verizon internet

We have had Verizon wireless "high speed" internet service for 3 (?) years. The Service is so slow that you can seldom send an email, without disconnecting, then reconnecting. If you send it within the first few seconds of connecting, it will go through, otherwise it fails. We bought this junk service through Best Buy (another store I will NEVER set foot in again). It costs us $70.00 per month. My wife and I have called them ever since we got this service and they sold her several new wireless cars for $80.00 plus each and numerous software upgrades. They even told her she needed to sign up for a new contract for improved service, which she did, adding 2 years to the contract. Not a fair way to treat a 60 year old lady. Finally one rep told us that if we read our contract, they have the right to slow down our service for up to 30 days at a time. Another rep. Told me that he sent a technician out to check service in our area who stated that their service antennae was aimed in another direction because they had more customers that direction and they had no plans of aiming it our direction. He said even though we were only a very few miles away, our service area was considered fringe whenever anyone else in the 2 adjoining towns connected. He said we could discontinue our service at any time without being charged the penalty since they had no plans of improving service to us. I told them that selling us "high speed" wireless service, plus the new wireless cards was a fraudulent misreprepresention and they should refund part of our money.instead they try to sell us verizon cell phone coverage which I doubt could be any better since the wireless card is basically a wireless cell number. I am major pissed off. I have missed many internet auctions because the&* (%*%^*$ thing would not send fast enough. Their own Verizon Access manager statistics page consistantly shows the send and receive rate flatlined near non existent.
