Basically i called to switch my sim card over to this android phone I bought through private sale and so all went through of course (because they are getting more money out of me) and the whole time I had the android phone about year and a half I had the crappiest internet t-mobile offered which I didnt know until I called to cancel.
So I says "I'd like to remove the android phone thing from my bill because I no longer want this phone" and he says "well you signed a 2 year contract for that phone and we can't change the rate plan without signing a new one. I says "WHAT?! I bought this phone myself through private sale!" after about 10 minutes on hold he comes back and says "Ok, if you didn't renew the contract for the phone we did it for the smart phone capability"
So evidentally they chose to sign a 2 year contract for me because all that was told to me was "Ok sir ive made the changes to your account blah blah blah" NEVER was I told it would have locked me into a 2 year contract because I simply would NOT have done it. If I knew that I could have just went and got a free phone for signing a new agreement! But I never signed nothing and was never told this would renew my contract.
The ONLY reason I bought it through private sale was so I didn't have to sign a new contract with these scam artists. Not to mention the WHOLE time I had this android "3G" I found out when I went to shut it off that I never had 3g he said what I had was comparable to dial up and he don't know why I didn't have more. CRAAAAZZYYY that t-mobile can just get away with renewing contracts.
