Misrepresented lot quantity

I have purchased over 100K from techliquidators, and for the most part they do very well when you purchase salvaged, or new equipment. When you purchase returns they do a terrible job.

The industry standard for how close a manifest must be to an actual item count is 85%. With Techliquidators you will be lucky if it is 50%. I purchased a pallet for $15K from them that included 3 B&W Panarama speakers. This was valued @ $2700 each, there was only 1 of them.in fact if you are to go down the manifest list the top 10% of high valued items are not included or the count is off. When I contacted TechLiquidators about this they send me there standard e-mail Below:

We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused you. Unfortunately I do need to point out our terms. Each time you log into Tech Liquidators you agree to our terms.in section 3 of the Terms of Service under waiver of Detail Receipt we explain that the manifest on the auction is simply an estimate of the items that will be received. Many times you ll receive more items then we list and sometime you will receive less. It s the nature of liquidation. I have also copied and pasted the exact Legal Policy you agreed to below.

Unfortunately we will not be able to offer any type of compensation for the missing items. Again, We apologize for any inconvenience.

3.

Waiver of Detail Receipt. You acknowledge that the number of units of the Listed Products set forth in the listing on the Site is merely an estimate and that the final inventory levels of Listed Product from Best Buy or the Third Party Seller, as applicable, may vary from the number of units set forth in the listing. You hereby waive any opportunity to detail the receipt of the listed products due to the time, cost and other considerations involved as well as the deeply discounted pricing at which you are acquiring the listed products. You agree to the following: (a) you assume the risk that you may not receive all of the Listed Products set forth in the listing; (b) you assume the risk that you may receive more Listed Products than set forth in the listing; and (c) you release Best Buy from any and all claims, demands, actions and causes of action you may have against Best Buy as a result of the discrepancy between the items set forth in the listing and the items you actually receive from Best Buy or the Third Party Seller, as applicable.

Thank you, Philo

I completely understand there policy, but this is not the first time this has happened, and for some reason it is only missing merchandise that is of high value. The Dynex products are never counted incorrectly. There customer service will not do anything and it is impossible to ever contact, overall you would think with the amount of money people spend on these lots they can at least compensate people for their mistakes.

On top of this, when you buy returns they say that the items are untested, but there are obvious signs of testing on a lot of the units. This is actually illegal, because if it is tested and doesn't work it must be listed as salvaged. *stay away from tech! *
