My name is Terri Hays, I purchased a Lawntractor from the Sears store in Bowling Green Ky July. I am very very very disappointed in Sears. I have had the tractor worked on three times this summer. First time was when the rear-end of the tractor came apart from the frame of the tractor. Second time the front tires bowed out and two new steering arms were to be replaced. Third time the soleniod for the starter, two idler pulleys and all new belts had to be replaced. I am concerned that a lawn tractor that came from the manufacturer in this state of coming apart at the seams was sold with a 2000 dollar price tag. I do appreciate that sears is wanting to have this fixed, but I am only interested in mowing my yard and not having to call them once a month for it to be down at least three weeks at a time. For their customer support personell to act like I am an inconvience, and not want to let me talk to anyone but the lackies. This last time my mower broke, it broke September fifteenth, it was the twenty-first before someone came out to diagnose the problem. The repair man ordered the parts, that day. Telling me that it would be October 11, before he could return to fix it. I recived a phone call October 5, telling me that the repair man had a cancellation, and wanted to know if I could be there in twenty miutes. I was not at home or able to be there and declined at the time. Sears service called October 9 to tell me that there wasn't a service tech working October 11, and they would have to reschedule. I told them that this was unsatisfactory, to only have it thrown in my face that I had turned down a previous opportunity to have it fixed earlier, but that I had declined it. I stayed on the phone that day for fourty-five minutes trying to complain to someone at how I was being treated to no avail. I want something done about this customer service treatment.
