I purchased the Columbia FRS two-way radios at Fry's as advertised for $25 with a $25 rebate from Columbia on 11/26/03. While looking for accessories for the radios on the internet I discovered the usacomplaints.com. After hearing that the rebates were not being paid in a timely manner I sent mine by certified mail, (another $4.42), hoping that at least in this manner they may be more inclined to proccess it.
As of yet I have not recieved a rebate and don't expect to.By the way one of the radios runs the batteries down in a couple of days even with it turned off. Fry's will not give a refund because the UPC is missing from the package. What a scam.
I won't be purchasing from either of these companies again and you should tell everyone you know to do the same.
