I am yet another victim to Columbia Telecommunications and their rebate scam. Though I am luckier than most it seems, my radios actually work. It sounded like a great deal at the time, and I got 3 of my friends to also buy the radios. Not surprising, they have not received their rebates either.
Doing a search with the Better Business Bureau in New York (they actually have an office in Farmingdale!) shows that Columbia Telecommunications is a member in good standing.:-0 Seems that most of you other victims are not using the BBB to get your rebates as I intend to do as soon as I finish this report. Here is their info, please file complaints and don't get ripped off. There is power in numbers. One note, on the BBB site you must enter their name just like this or it will not come up.
