Ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing un-usable phones, dropped calls etc HEY Verizon! Can you hear me NOW?

My husband too got the two phones, shared plan, but ours costed us $55 dollars. We had mobile to mobile minutes, which is why we got the plan in the first place. We had we given a ton of mobile to mobile to minutes, and since we basically called each other the most, this plan seemed to make the most sense.

But then they took all the minutes we used up talking to each other mobile to mobile, and counted them as normal minutes, which meant we went over our alloted minutes for the month, and therefore they charged us extra. On top of that they charged us an additional $53 for no reason at all. When I called to complain, the lady hung up on me!

If that wasn't enough, my phone didn't even work! I always had drop calls and could never access my voicemail/mailbox etc. My husband and I had the exact same phones that we purchased at the exact same time from Radio Shack in BriarWood Mall in Ann Arbor Michigan and he didn't have the same problem.

I went to Verizon Wireless customer service representives and they told me the reason for my drop calls was that my towers weren't up. She fooled around with my phone, but that didn't work. Nothing worked.

When my car broke down and I needed to call someone, I couldn't because my phone was such a piece of junk! When I really needed it, it didn't work!

Then my phone just stopped working all together. I thought it was because it was near our time for our contract to be up, but that wasn't the case, because I called to make sure. And it wasn't the batteries either.

I wanted to cancel the phones before they sent me another bill, because that's what one of the representatives told me I had to do. I was going to do it right then and there but he said I was already paying for 21 more days so why do I cancel in 3 weeks, so I said okay.

Two and 1/2 weeks later I called to cancel, and they wouldn't let me, they said it had to be my husband. I told them that my name was on the account, and that last year when they screwed us over $53 my husband had put me on the account so I could take care of all finances, etc. But still, they wouldn't let me do it. My husband at this time was very busy with other stuff, and wanted me to handle this, and I was upset that they wouldn't let me cancel. They wanted us both to be home at the same time. I told them that was crazy. I told them that I was in the computer from last year and that I was authorized to cancel our plan.

After bending over backwards in both of our schedules, my husband and I called them, to get another representative, and I was able to cancel both phones. The representative confirmed my suspicions that I was in the computer the whole time and that it stated specifically that I was authorized to cancel our plan.

I hate Verizon Wireless more than words can say. My only consolation is that one day, this will all come back to bite them in the _ _ _! HEY Verizon! Can you hear me NOW???
