Microwave repair cashed 39.99 check, did not respond to inquiries, hasn't repaired the item internet / lafayette, georgia

We sent our microwave panel in for repair on March 11, three months later we were told that he would keep us posted. As of the 17 of August, with several more requests for updates still no word.
If we had known there was this much of a backlog, I would have fixed it myself. As a 1st Class FCC licenseholder, this would have been very possible.
