I purchased a product from www.lightinthebox.com and sent 174 dollars for a 7 inch tablet. I was excited when they knocked on the door with the delivery and immediately opened the package only to come to find out they had sent me a 7 inch tablet alright. Shattered screen.
So I sent them now 5 times following their policy including sending a picture of the broken merchandise and filled out there forms and requested my money back or just send a replacement and they continue to keep on telling me my product arrived in excellent condition. Really from china? How would they know that. I understand somethings get damaged in transit and said hey lets fix this so we can do future business and they just kept sending me what seemed like a form lettter over and over after 4 requests I contacted my bank and also made a 5th request. The bank Chase were terrible about the situation. I have visa logo which by their standards says I am protected against things like this. Well they said I had to send the broken product back in order to get my refund even though the companies policy did not dictate I do so it just said to send them a picture of the defect.
I sit here today without a tablet without my money and I checked into sending it back to get my money and they want me to pay 120 dollars for shipping costs. That would make that tablet almost a 300 dollar tablet that of course. I could buy an Acer from walmart that is 10 inch tablet DO NOT buy anything from this company they certainly don't stand behind their products and Proof of a broken tablet seems to not be good enough for them. Or my bank. Please be weary about buying anything out of china. It may seem like a good things at the time but it is poorly manufactured equipment and when you send any money and you may not get anything in return. And guess what. Not much you can do about it...
