I bought a 26 in. LCD VIZO TV from SAM'S Club in Dec. 2010 and started having a problem in March IT would just go blank but I still had sound. This would go on for a few minutes than it would shut off completely. And stay off for 5-10 minutes. I couldn't even turn it on with either the remote or the manual switch on the TV, then it would come back on on it's own and work fine. For several days. This happened several times before I called VIZO and complained and was told they were aware of the problem and working on it. I was asked if the set was connected to the internet and I advised that it was and they said that when the problem was fixed they would send the fix over the internet to the set and repair it. I thought "Damn, that's cool"... Anyway, it's now been 4 more months, 3 more phone calls and still not fixed. When I asked for a replacement I was told the only TV they would replace it with is the same model and I'd still have the same problem. After checking here on line I find that I'm not the only one having this problem and my model isn't the only model with this problem. Sooooooooo. Here's what I've started doing as a solution. I'm spending a lot of time at Sam's club in the Electronics dept. And every time I see someone looking a VIZO TV I tell them of the problems I'm having and so far everyone I've spoken to, if they were going to buy a TV, has bought a Different brand... Maybe, just maybe, if enough dis-satisfied customers do this and VIZO stars loosing business they will come up with a solution...
