I tried to purchase metal detectors from a company that I found on the Madeinchina.com website, I could not find any negative info on the company and I risked £1400! (I knew it was a risk but I had been emailing them back and forth for weeks and they seemed ok) I sent the money to them. They just stopped replying to my emails and have stolen the money.
I have complained directly to Madeinchina.com and they gave me a website for complaints, it was a dud! I have emailed nearly 100 companies on the Madeinchina.com website with my complaint and concerns and none have replied! Leaving me to believe that the entire site is a list of hundreds of fake companies listing thousands of fake/non existant products.
Why isn't this illegal? Why can't they be stopped? The Internet is a fantastic place for criminals.
Beware! And stay away.
