This company padded the bill and charged us for erroneous time and men. We paid what what we felt was fair and in accordance with the time actually worked and disputed the balance. The owner refused to dispute in a professional manner; did not respond to our letter of dispute or phone calls. Rather, he sent the constable to our door to serve us with a lawsuit in the county of his place of business, rather than in ours where he did the work. When we tried to move the hearing to our county we were refused.
In court he fabricated documents to try and show that he did try to dispute fairly. He claimed he notified us by email and certified letter, but could not show proof of either. He won in court and were forced to pay him the disputed amount. It it was our impression he had friends in the court system to bully us into paying him rather than negotiate and discuss this in a professional manner.
Although we can't confirm, we have heard through the grapevine that this is MO and has done this to others.
