First The Sigma 18-50mm lens I orderedfor a Nikon DSLRthat was delivered was not for a Nikon DSLR as I ordered - and was indicated on the packing slip with the deliver - - the lens was for Canon DSLR cameras.
Second - There was a large fingerprint smudge on the lens, and the boxthat contained the lens was not sealed and obvious opened and closed.
I was initially going to ask them to give me information on how to send backthe wrong Canon lens that they sent, and ask for a Sigma for Nikonreplacement.
However, when I discovered that fingerprint smudge onthe lens, and the unsealed and opened appearance of the box thatcontained the lens, it is evident the lens was opened and handled (which makes this component used, in my opinion).
I sent notice today that I want to return this smudged and used Canon lens that is not designed tofunction on my Nikon D-5000, and requested an expeditious refund of thefunds they took out of my credit card account.
Will let you know how this is resolved...
