Another Scam in India with Bharti Airtel.
I have purchased postpaid connection from Airtel Bharti GSM phone company in India.
The service was so quick in terms of activation and selling - by Airtel. I got my number and SIM right at my door step and was happy on first day of its usage. For getting connection I provided all the documents (indian resident proof) to the satisfaction of the Airtel Agent who came to our door for selling. Which was also confirmed okay by Mr. Sudhir Manager of verification, as he stated.
On third of fourth day I got the message that my phone will be deactivated in case I do not provide all documents. So I spoke to one Mr. Divaker the Airtel Agent who sold me SIM card, he said nothing to worry as documents have not reached and your phone will work fine if you just let them know that documents are on its way.
