Rayovac offers among the most excellent customer services I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I am part of a family-run business, we do everything; plumbing, electric, construction, demolition, excavation, water, and a paintball field on the side. Needless to say we end up in situations where we need a good light. A few years ago we picked up two Rayovac Sportsman Xtreme flashlights, a 1watt and a 3watt. I took the three watt and have been carrying it every day since. It shows; the outside is worn but still tough and durable. The 1watt has remained a night-stand light but never failed to put out a beam when it was needed.
A few months in, my 3-watt began to dim. I wrote the company and they sent me a new light. I then returned the broken one via shipping and they sent another new one. Now, a few years of abuse later, the LED fell off and they're paying shipping both ways to fix it. I know this may make it sound like their lights are not well-built, but you would have to understand the abuse I've put mine through. Muddy holes, dirty pockets, water, sand, dirt, paint... And hours of blasting light where I needed it. And Rayovac is willing to send you a shiny new one when yours finally kicks the bucket. That's the way service should be. This company stands behind it's products.
