I went to the West Vancouver (Park Royal) Futureshop and purchased an Epson NX510 printer. When I went back home to set up the printer, I discovered it was missing the printer cable.
The box clearly indicates the printer cable aka USB cable is included. With my busy lifestyle, I didn't bother going back to the West Vancouver location.
When I had time, I went to the Burnaby (Metrotown) location to discuss the matter with one of the sales associate.
The Burnaby FS is closer to where I live. I talked to the sales associate and told him the USB cable was missing. Being the know it all that he is, he assumed all printers don't come with USB cables.
I pointed out to him that the printer did in fact come with the cable. I told him to read the "What's in the box" section. I even read it out to him and he refused to cooperate.
I started to get really irritated that this arrogant know it all wouldn't look at the box or open the box to see if it comes with a cable. Eventually, I was kicked out of the store. I even have the receipt to prove I bought the printer.
However, I don't have access to a scanner to scan in the receipt to upload to usacomplaints.com.
Other bad attributes of this lousy store which sells inferior products at inflated prices are that they never answer the phone. The phone would ring 10-15 times and there's no answer.
I've also been put on hold for over half an hour and eventually someone hung up on me.
The only reason why I bought the printer at FS is because they have a price match guarantee. Lesson learned, don't buy stuff from FS. They try to sell you extended warranty and do not honor it. They are scammers. Beware!
