Paid for a specifically described. 01lux ex-view low-light camera with Sony chip. A full month later finally received a completely different and inferior/cheaper non ex-view, non Sony Chip camera with an inferior lux ratng.
I emailed my request to return item for a full refund to include my shipping expenses both ways. They first required me to take various pictures of the camera and the box it came in and email them to them (?) which I did. Then they asked for a number off the box, which I gave them. Then they suggested, more than once, I keep the camera and be issued some kind of partial credit toward other merchandise they sell, which I declined.
Finally, a month later and with Paypal's involement, I received a refund for the item, but no refund for the original or return shipping expense.
Either by design or by careless mistake, they sent me the wrong item (why is it never a better item than you ordered). Not my problem and should not be at my expense. Their emails were polite and apoligetic, but that wasn't enough to offset the initial stonewalling, the long delay, the many repetitive emails, and the significant out of pocket shipping loss.
