I purchase a 42 in Panasonic Plasma from Best Buys 2 years ago and paid extra for the longer warranty. Well the TV has broke several times and each time it took at least 2 weeks if not longer for both the part and for the repair service to fix. I am still waiting for a new part which I have kids upset, it may take actually a month to hopefully fix.
I spoke to Best Buy they where willing to replace the TV however they wanted to charge me for a new install plus re-program my universal remote which cost me 300.00 and void my original extended warranty at another 300.00 and maybe give me a lesser tv. I also spoke to Panasonic and they where not welling to do anything.
Bottom line don t buy a Panasonic product and be very careful dealing with Best Buy.
I hope no one else has these problems like I do.
They are both horrible and will never do business with either companies again.
