I have had 2 maguic Jacks for quite some time.in general, I was pleased with the service.

THEN I had to contact their incredibly awful customer servic4e.

I signed up for their service which allows nme to make prepaid International calls from my cell phone

BIG mistake - it does not work.

The second mistake was trying to get it working.

I was sentr an access number for the gateway. I was supposed to dial the international number when prompted.

When I dial the access number, I get a recorded message refusing to connect me because "I don't have any prepaid international call timre..."

The first thing I did was to go on line and verify
1 (The balance in my PPD account, and
2) The cell phone number registered.

RThen I chated with customer service
"wait a few days"
I did
Then I chatted with customer service. The next 10 calls all went something luike this
1) inananr inaccurate responses from call center like "update your software" "unplug your MJ" "PLUG your MJ" change USB cables" "change USB ports: (while it should be obvious to any idiot that the physical device has nothing to do with a call from a CELL PHONE to a server, I did all of them anyhow.

Then they always insisted that they wanted to know the international number which I HAD NOT DIALED - now how that could effect anything would require psychic powers.

THEN they told me that I HAD to use the "1" prefix to dial their access code (like most cell carriers - my carrier ignores leading "1"s -) so I did.

Finally yhry would accelerate my complaint to one of the "Top 10%" who would also make stupid wild guesses, then "Write a report: and tell me that I would be contacted by the REAL technical support after they had fixed it -"

This would happen "Immediately - under an hour" later the time that they promised stretched out to "very soon" then "soon" then after an number of identical calls, they now simply review my account, say "it was reported" "it will be fixed" "you will get an email" "don't bother us again"

Of course
1) I don't get an email
2) It is noy fix4ed"
and
3) It is obvious that nothing is being done.
