Poor design, poor customer help - gas range

I purchased an Stainless Steel LG gas range April 09, the control knobs are made with plastic sleeves for the gas valve control knobs. They are all cracked and wobbly. Poor design.
I tried to contact LG consumer help through their website, the site would not send my information after three tries of typing in all my information, I then did on line chat, lilia could not help and said "sorry your having trouble" and gave me the wrong phone number to call, they transferred me to Carlos and there was static on the line, broken English and no reply when I answered yes to their question "may I verify some information? They then hang up. I tried calling again and get another broken English lady, same experience. Then I gave up. I don't have the patience for being treated like a fool. I influence my customers on what brands to buy as contractor and this experience will be taken into consideration. One of my biggest concerns is quality control and I am good at it. Up till today I really thought LG had a good product. Now reading all the complaints on the internet and then having my own experience with LG has really given me the right to stand up to substandard business practices. Robert Clausen.
