Cricket Wireless: stone park, IL (the corporate store)
ive been having very small problems with cricket for a long long time but its never been like this before. Let me start off by saying tht if u are interested in using crickets service, DO NOT! It may be cheap but it is not worth it.
I was using my cricket phone to text, keep in mind i have they're unlimited calling and texting on my phone. All of a sudden my battery died. I went to put it on my charger and wen i plugged it in, it erased all my text messages.
I thought nothing of it at first then all of a sudden, a new text message came in and said tht my inbox was full and please delete my old text messages. I did this and yet each time a new text came in, it still came up with tht message. When this happened, i called the 611 number wich is the customer support.
About 3 of the times that i tried this number, they told me that i wold have to go into my nearest cricket store. About 3 of the other times they told me to do a *228 on my phone to reset the phone wich still didnt work.
Since it was night time and cricket closes unconviently early, i went in the next day. It was a tuesday at about 4 pm wen i went to my villa park cricket store, there was a sign on the door that said they wer closed all of thanksgiving week which i didnt get at all, so the next day i called a bensenville cricket as i started arguing with the lady, she told me that i wold have to go to the stone park corporate store, this infuriated me because this was about 30-40 minutes away.
So i went to the store looking for answers wen immediately the lady tells me that my phone is in poor condition and that if i wanted to fix this problem that i "caused" i wold have to pay them a fee of 37 dollars to file in a claim to get it 1 week later! O, and she also told me that i didnt have unlimited texting on my phone wich is wat ive been paying for for the past 3 months!
All of cricket is a scam, they give u a 50 dollar rebate wen u first sign up that u truely cannot EVER use, they can charge u watever they want for their monthly service, and their customer service is by far the worst i have ever seen from any company, i truely hope the FCC shuts them down
