I Bought an LG fridge (Design LFC25760ST) on July 29 and suggest that anybody prevent their goods.
I simply happened to start the doorway late yesterday simply to find a unpleasant burning plastic odor and an extraordinarily warm environment. Anything on top ledge was hotter than room temperature. I easily found the lighting cell was burning off the screws keeping it in position; brown burn scars about the cable property and also the plastic above the light property bubbled.
After exploring the web, I came across atleast 80 reviews of the same issue - some refrigerators had started burning. Understanding the potential this quickly might have advanced to some fireplace while our household was asleep, I unplugged the refrigerator.
LG will repair it at their price, but can't promise that it's not going to occur again and undoubtedly, won't substitute it having a fresh refrigerator or pay me for several of my rotten food. I'd to get rid of anything not just since I switched it down for security, but all meals were infused using the odor of the reduction plastic.
