I bought a Microtek scanner from Office Depot on Alton Ave in Irvine, Californina. The purchase included a mail-in rebate of $20.00 from Microtek, the mfg. Over three months have passed and I have yet to receive the rebate.
I have emailed the Microtek rebate site several times and they continues to claim that a check was sent out on 5/5/03. It's the end of June and no check. I'm sure they have figured out how much of a fight a consumer will put up for $20.00 I'll never buy another product with a mail-in rebate - they just don't send you the money!
