Purchased a KitchenAid Refrigerator in June.in the first year noticed a large crack in the bottom floor of the freezer. Whirlpool stated that they do not replace any refrigerator only repair them.in April we were told the compressor had failed but the repairman only said it was the timer. We lost a freezer full of meat.in july we lost another freezer full of meat as the compressor has totally failed. We are waiting for parts. Also the crack is opening up again from a very poor repair job done in 2006. We had a fridge for over 30 years and it never failed. Kitchen Aid has not been a good product for us and We will not purchase one again.
Kitchen Aid is one of the only companies that do not replace a refrigerator.
