I bought a toshiba tv 50" along with the GE extended warrenty, that was July. Feb 14 the TV went out, I have been fighting ever since with the warrenty co. They sent someone out with a new lamp, it worked about 6 hours and went out, then they said it needed a whole new "brain board", they couldn't locate one, I called finally and was told they did locate one but it would be 5 -6 weeks before it came in. When it finally came in it worked about 10 hours, finally the warrenty co said they would refund $949.95, we paid about $1,300. For the Tv to start with, but they based their price on the benifits of my Toshiba and came up with a Sony they found on the computer that I could order, of course now there will be shipping costs. Today is June 2m 2009 and the check is not here, I called and was told for some reason it was never cut, so she will try to expidite it through now. Horrible experience!
