So here is my seemingly never ending ordeal... I bought a JVC television about 4 years ago with an extended warranty from HHgregg. A few months ago, I started having problems with my HDMI connection not having audio and called to have it repaired.
After the repair shop (Farrar's TV) had the tv for almost 2 months it was return. I turn it from imput to HDMI and it not only did not have audio but it had a big green screen. So they carried it back out.
I was a little annoyed so I called GE (the warranty) they were very nice and told me that they were going to see about it being replaced (because it has been to the shop 4 time since I bought it) and they'd call back in a day or two. They didn't so I called them. I then got a different rep that told me that she would not submit it for replacement because it would probably be denied. But GE has a policy that no repair can go past 90 days. (So I have about 2 1/2 weeks to go.)
Now the repair place returned the tv again, I checked the connection and it worked! I sign, they leave. I start flipping channels... GREEN SCREEN!!! So, I called GE, who now gives me a different number because HHgregg clients have their own department. Well, they aren't quiet a nice and told me that Farrar's has to be the one's to determine if it can be repaired... They get 3 chances... But her computer shows that this is only one event, that they haven't dropped it off to me twice, so the saga continues...
In short, JVC tv has great picture but breaks. GE does not put notes in the computer and creates new departments with new policies. HHgregg contract lousy companies to the their work. Farrar's TV repair evidently can't repair a tv.
