The DVR arrived 38 days after it was ordered. Upon arriving realized it needed a 2.5" HDD not the 3.5" I had. When the new HDD arrived it was past the 45 days PayPal requests for a dispute to be filed within.
Formatted the HDD and started up the time-lapse recording and got and image saying that the HDD could not be accessed. Reset DVR options and formatted the HDD again. Time lapse worked, used it that night and noticed glitches in the recording playback in the sound and the video about every miniute or so.
The next day wife and I went out to do yardwork and set the Sattelite on the channels we wanted to watch later when it got dark. Came in and tried to rewind time-lapse and got the HDD access failure again.
After several emails back and forth including the radio factory contact requesting a HDD image be sent to them, then an accusation that I did not know how to use the machine (I guess my supposed inability to navigate the menus was the cause of the HDD access failure:). Finally he agreed to talk to his company about an RMA so I could return the DVR. Haven't heard from them since.
