On February 11 I ordered a Magellan 750 GPS system from an on-line store called TeamGPS. According to their web page, this item was in stock. My credit card was billed $1,649.95 on Feb. 12th.
30 Days passed and I did not receive the item. I tried numerous times to e-mail, fax, and call... But I never received a response. (If you try calling, you'll get a recording.) Finally, after another 30 days had passed, I called my credit card company and they refunded my money.
It's now May and to this date, I have yet to hear from TeamGPS. According to their on-line store, (tracking) my order is still pending. This is the first time I have been ripped-off by an online store, but from now on you can bet I will be checking with the Better Business Bureau before I ever order from a retailer I'm not familiar with.
