I named Southtowns Equipment to have a look at my gasoline selection which was no longer working properly. They rapidly delivered over a fix guy who to my surprise billed me $90 for that support phone (which lasted about 20 minutes). No-where anytime was I informed that there will be a charge for this company. After calling Southtowns to explain the service-fee cost I had been fulfilled having a really unprofessional reaction and a support representative that explained they cost for several support calls. This might perfectly function as the situation (it had been my first equipment repair) nevertheless I told her that no-fee was revealed in my experience and that I would really like them to renounce the charge because it was an honest error. After being informed, somewhat rudely that she'd not renounce the charge, and my efforts to request a boss were declined she hung-up on me. I never obtained a return phone from the boss as required (how handy). Discouraged, I reached out towards the BBB and submitted a criticism. After studying their reaction from administration I cannot state that I am amazed whilst the reaction was an entire hide for me. Appears like this is actually the method they prefer to conduct business and honestly I am shocked they've experienced company for sixteen years with this particular kind of support. They will have undoubtedly dropped me like a client when I could guarantee everybody I had been never informed that there is a charge to possess somebody emerge and have a look in the equipment. Used to donot actually worry about the charge because it was to become included in the guarantee organization and so I do not have your dog within this battle! I understand since charging a charge for something phone is just a typical event but just before this phone I'd never had an equipment repair individual at my house. Had I been informed there is a charge I'd have happily settled it, I simply do not like being lied to after which have that rest covered-up by their administration. Had they decided to renounce the charge I'd have experienced their support technology fix the system however now I Will move elsewhere and certainly will not be suggesting their solutions. Appears to me that refunding my little $90 charge might have guaranteed a person for a lifetime, today they will have dropped my company, its a disgrace. The technician was really pleasant and skilled, no problems there, the administration and customer support about the other-hand abandon too much to be preferred. Select your providers properly, I hope I'd.
