On February 5 I bought a package of 50 CD-R from Staples which offered a $10 rebate to be sent in 8 to 10 weeks. I filled out the forms and sent all the necessary info and proof of purchase.
The offer was from Prime Peripherals Staples (rebate offer #39). Their address is P.O. Box 821 New Rochelle, NY 10802 and their website is www.tcarebates, com
I never heard from them so I checked on their website and found that I wasn't listed. I then sent an e-mail to their e-mail address: [email protected]. They never answered. I sent three more e-mails which they also ignored.
Then I sent one to Staples. This was also ignored.
I know this is only $10, but they are the ones who made the deal and said I could get $10 if I bought this particular brand instead of another. They could offer a $50 rebate if they plan to never pay it.
In my eyes this is fraud and has tainted all rebate offers.
