Complete motherborad failure on a motherborad that was disconntinued due to problems with it

I have a HP 9000 DV laptop. I have only had 1 yr and 1 month. I went to power on one day and could see there was power but would not boot up. I called HP and went through all the steps and troubleshooting and at conclusion case was opened and was also told that the motherboard in my latop had been discontinued and they were no longer using that motherboard due to severe issues. (issues bad enough for them not to use anymore so you know there had to be tons of complaints and issues for them to go this far as to pull a product). My son has an hp laptop and they said well we will file it under his warranty and mailed me a box.

I did not agree with having to file under his warranty due to fact that this was a problem with a product that HP discontinued due to many issues so therefore they should absolutely address this issue without using any of my warranty.

I sent it in and they kept my latop for over a month and then sent it back with absolutely nothing done and it not working as it did before!!! Now first this motherboard is not being used due to the issues they had with this motherboard so why they would not fix the issue that they have already known to be a problem to the point of no longer using the motherboard for the very same reason.

I now am sitting with a total no use laptop that has a motherboard that they stopped using due to the same problems and then kept it for a month returned with nothing done and they cannot explain why and give me the run around. I am in the process of trying to locate a physical mailing address to the CEO Mark Hurd...

I have just sent him an email and his motto is "Everything we do is done for the customer and if we are not then we need to reconsider why we are doing it" now does this case reflect that motto and does his companies actions reflect his words?
